Summary

Discovery Benelux is looking for a Direct Marketing Specialist. In this role  you will be responsible for the execution of the direct marketing strategy in the Benelux for our brands Discovery, TLC, ID, Eurosport and our streaming service discovery+. You will be part of the Benelux Marketing team and work closely with both local and international teams to optimize and execute the local performance campaigns and CRM activities of discovery+. The Direct Marketing Specialist pays close attention to the details while coordinating with various departments to execute show-specific and brand level campaigns. In this role you keep track of various KPIs and always strive for improvements. We are seeking an experienced specialist with knowledge of performance marketing campaigns and CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of Discovery’s direct marketing strategy within the Benelux with a focus on discovery+
  • Manage performance based campaigns, including social advertising & SEA
  • Manage CRM activities including e-mail, push, in-app & web messages
  • Close collaboration with local research team to setup, track and report on KPIs
  • Close collaboration with marketing and creative teams on the delivery of performance based and CRM assets
  • Work together with both local and international teams to localize international developed campaigns
  • Collaborate with Social Media & Content Specialist, Editorial Lead & Marketing Coordinator on local stunts & campaigns
  • Oversee direct-to-consumer content calendar & top-level marcom initiatives
  • Make sure to be aligned and localize campaigns with (international) content and marketing teams 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience with direct marketing with knowledge of both CRM and performance marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
  • You have a clear eye for details, feel confident in decision making and are experienced in working towards deadlines
  • The ability to embrace and adapt to change in a dynamic environment
  • Teamplayer with genuine passion for and interest in the Discovery brands and content
  • Experience with (Google) Spreadsheets, Documents & Slides
  • Experience with Adobe software is a plus
  • Experience within an entertainment company with an emphasis on online streaming is a plus
  • Interest in sports is preferable
